Homeals One Turns One: Our First Run Together
For the first time, we got to celebrate it not behind a screen, not through an order confirmation, but in person. This was an idea that I always wanted, not knowing how the turnout would be, but more about engaging offline with my customers and knowing who actually supported Homeals from Day 0.
To celebrate Homeals turning one, we thought having the community together for a morning run in both Kuala Lumpur and Penang would be perfect. It was our first event in KL as well.
For the past year, we always wanted Homeals to be more than just a meal prep for you, so we thought maybe by meeting up, listening to some opinions and suggestions, it would help us to move further.
So we thought, why not take it offline?

We started the morning with a run. Some showed up alone, some brought their buddies. We had comments that it was their first community run.
That's exactly what we wanted.
After the run, everyone gathered for coffee and some light bites.
This was probably our favorite part of the morning. Because suddenly, it wasn't just usernames, names on orders or customers we recognized from WhatsApp conversations.
We were finally putting faces to the names.
We got to chat, laugh, meet new people and spend a little more time with the community that has supported Homeals through the past year.
One year of Homeals
Looking back, one year of Homeals has gone by pretty quickly.
And this is a token of appreciation, a way of saying thank you.
